Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human FLRT1 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:100) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm and cell membrane.

Background: FLRT1

FLRT1, 2, and 3 are type I transmembrane glycoproteins that are characterized by the presence of ten leucine-rich repeats and a juxtamembrane fibronectin type-III domain. FLRT proteins differ in their tissue distribution in the embryo and adult. They modulate FGF R signaling and homotypic cell adhesion. FLRT3 also promotes neurite outgrowth.
