Background: GPR135

The GPR135 gene encodes for a probable G-protein coupled receptor 135 that is 494 amino acids in length at a mass of approximately 51 kDA. This protein is known as an orphan receptor and participates with GPCRs through interactions with the TPD52L1 and MAGED1 genes. Researchers have investigated the role of the GPR135 gene in pneumonia.
