Scientific Data Images for Human AATK Antibody
Detection of AATK in A172 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.
A172 human glioblastoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human AATK Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB4866, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Phycoerythrin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG F(ab')2Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0102B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin.Applications for Human AATK Antibody

Background: AATK
Apoptosis-associated tyrosine kinase (AATK) is a 155 kDa membrane-associated intracellular protein that promotes neurite extension and neuronal differentiation. Low extracellular potassium levels induce AATK phosphorylation and apoptosis in cerebellar granule cells. AATK negatively regulates the Na-K-2Cl cotransporter by promoting its PP1-dependent dephosphorylation. The two alternate splice forms of AATK also contain the sequences included in this immunogen. Within this region, human AATK shares 63% aa sequence identity with mouse AATK.
