Scientific Data Images for Human CTRP5/C1qTNF5 Antibody

CTRP5/C1qTNF5 antibody in Human Liver by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-P).

CTRP5/C1qTNF5 in Human Liver.

CTRP5/C1qTNF5 was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver using Mouse Anti-Human CTRP5/C1qTNF5 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3167) at 10 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Mouse HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown; Catalog # CTS002) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to sinusoids. View our protocol for Chromogenic IHC Staining of Paraffin-embedded Tissue Sections.
Detection of CTRP5/C1qTNF5 antibody in A172 Human Cell Line antibody by Flow Cytometry.

Detection of CTRP5/C1qTNF5 in A172 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry.

A172 human glioblastoma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human CTRP5/C1qTNF5 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB3167, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). Background: CTRP5/C1qTNF5

CTRP5, also known as C1qTNF5, belongs to the highly conserved family of Acrp30/Adiponectin paralogs known as C1q and TNF‑related protein family. All family members share a modular organization comprising an N‑terminal signal peptide, a short variable region, a collagenous domain and a C‑terminal globular domain. CTRP proteins are predicted to have trimeric structures that assemble into hexameric and higher order molecular forms. Human and mouse CTRP5 share 94% amino acid sequence identity.
