Scientific Data Images for Human SVEP1 Antibody
Detection of Human SVEP1 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of MG-63 human osteosarcoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 2 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human SVEP1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB97741) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF018). A specific band was detected for SVEP1 at approximately 460 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 3.Applications for Human SVEP1 Antibody

Background: SVEP1
Sushi, von Willebrand factor type A, EGF and pentraxin domain-containing protein 1 (also known as Polydom), is a 3571 aminoacids (aa), 390KDa extracellular matrix protein encoded by the SVEP1 gene. SVEP1 has been identified as a multidomain cell adhesion protein that is a ligand for integrin alpha9 beta1. SVEP1 has been proposed to play a crucial role in epidermis differentiation and lymphatic remodeling.
