ELISA: Kappa Light Chain Antibody (RM126) - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-25965] - ELISA of human immunoglobulins shows RM126 reacts to the kappa light chain of human immunoglobulins. No cross reactivity with the lambda light chain, mouse IgG, rat IgG, or goat IgG. The plate was coated with 50 ng/well of different immunoglobulins. 200 ng/mL or 50 ng/mL of RM126 was used as the primary antibody. An alkaline phosphatase conjugated anti-rabbit IgG as the secondary antibody.

Background: Kappa Light Chain

Kappa light chain antibody can be used for the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Kappa light chain contains one immunoglobulin-like domain. The EU sequence has the INV allotypic marker, Ala-45 and Val-83. The ROY sequence has the INV allotypic marker, Ala-45 and Leu-83.
