Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: MADD Antibody [NBP3-06250] - Immunofluorescence staining of MADD in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human MADD polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degrees celsius overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor (TM) 488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

Background: MADD

MAP kinase-activating death domain protein (MADD) is a death domain containing protein that interacts with the death domain of TNF-alpha receptor 1 to activate mitogen-activate protein kinase (MAPK) and transduce apoptotic signals. MADD is a multi-pass membrane protein that exists as multiple alternatively spliced forms.
