Immunoprecipitation: MASTL Antibody [NBP1-22987]

Immunoprecipitation: MASTL Antibody [NBP1-22987] - Detection of human MASTL by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MASTL antibody NBP1-22987 (lot NBP1-22987-4) used for IP at 3 ug per reaction. MASTL was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot of this antibody (lot NBP1-22987-3). For blotting immunoprecipitated MASTL, NBP1-22987 was used at 0.4 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background: MASTL

MASTL (microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase-like) is an uncharacterized putative serine/threonine kinase which may be involved in megakaryocyte development. Defects in MASTL are the cause of thrombocytopenia type 2 (THC2) a disease characterized by decreased circulating platelets and increased potential for bleeding.
