Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: MORC1 Antibody [NBP2-98518] - Immunofluorescence staining of MORC1 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human MORC1 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: MORC1

MORC1, also known as MORC family CW-type zinc finger protein 1, is a 984 amino acid protein that is 113 kDa, nucleus located, has a role in early spermatogenesis. This protein is being studied for its involvement in infertility. The protein has been linked to the multicellular organismal development, spermatogenesis and cell differentiation processes.
