Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: MRPS25 Antibody [NBP2-98523] - Immunofluorescence staining of MRPS25 in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human MRPS25 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

Background: MRPS25

MRPS25, or Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S25, consists of a 173 amino acid isoform that is 20 kDa, and is involved in mitochondrial protein synthesis. The protein is not currently involved in any disease research. MRPS25 has been linked to the process of translation, and interacts with ICT1, DDX56, MME, KBTBD7, and SQSTM1.
