Scientific Data Images for Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3/CHRM3 Antibody (2D4)

Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3/CHRM3 Antibody (2D4)

Immunohistochemistry: Rabbit Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3/CHRM3 mAb (2D4) [NBP3-15165]

Immunohistochemistry: Rabbit Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3/CHRM3 mAb (2D4) [NBP3-15165] - Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3/CHRM3 Antibody diluted at 1:300 and staining in paraffin-embedded human brain tissue. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB. Secondary antibody only control: uses 1% BSA instead of primary antibody.

Background: CHRM3

The muscarinic cholinergic receptors belong to a larger family of G protein-coupled receptors. The functional diversity of these receptors is defined by the binding of acetylcholine and includes cellular responses such as adenylate cyclase inhibition, phosphoinositide degeneration, and potassium channel mediation. Muscarinic receptors influence many effects of acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system. The muscarinic cholinergic receptor 3 controls smooth muscle contraction and its stimulation causes secretion of glandular tissue.
