WB: Approx. 75 kDa band observed in HeLa lysates (calculated MW of 72.0 kDa band according to NP_690869.1). An additional band was also consistently observed at 37 kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide and likely represents the mature form.

Background: NEDD1

May play an important role during the embryonic development and differentiation of the central nervous system. Human NEDD1 localises to the centrosome and mitotic spindle. It binds to the components of the gamma-tubulin ring complex and target this complex to the centrosome and spindle.
