Immunohistochemistry: OS9 Antibody (26H3) [NBP3-26446] - Image of OS9 Antibody (26H3) diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded human pancreatic tissue performed. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4°C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.

Background: OS9
Functionally, OS9 binds to HIF-1, a key regulator of the hypoxic response and angiogenesis, and promotes the degradation of one of its subunits. It may also bind terminally misfolded non-glycosylated proteins as well as improperly folded glycoproteins, retain them in the ER, and possibly transfer them to the ubiquitination machinery and promote their degradation. One such possible target includes TRPV4.
