Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: PAC1R Antibody [NBP2-97421]

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: PAC1R Antibody [NBP2-97421] - Immunofluorescence staining of PAC1R in SHSY5Y cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human PAC1R polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG Secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

Background: PAC1R

The pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating peptide receptor (PAC1) is a member of a family of three G-protein coupled receptors which mediate VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) and PACAP (pituitary adenlyate cyclase activating peptide) function in a variety of tissues. PAC1 demonstrates a higher affinity for PACAP than VIP. Expression of the VIP and VACAP receptors has been linked to the presence of human tumors.

Long Name
