Western Blot: Pax2 Antibody (JJ082-08) [NBP2-67849]

Western Blot: Pax2 Antibody (JJ082-08) [NBP2-67849] - Analysis of Pax2 on human kidney tissue lysates with Rabbit anti-Pax2 antibody at 1/500 dilution. Lysates/proteins at 20 ug/Lane. Predicted band size: 45 kDa Observed band size: 45 kDa Exposure time: 2 minutes; 10% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody at 1/500 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:300,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Pax2 Antibody (JJ082-08) [NBP2-67849]

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Pax2 Antibody (JJ082-08) [NBP2-67849]

Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Pax2 Antibody (JJ082-08) [NBP2-67849] - Analysis of paraffin-embedded rat epididymis tissue with Rabbit anti-Pax2 antibody washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody at 1/100 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background: Pax2

PAX2 encodes paired box gene 2, one of many human homologues of the Drosophila melanogaster gene prd. The central feature of this transcription factor gene family is the conserved DNA-binding paired box domain. PAX2 is believed to be a target of transcriptional supression by the tumor supressor gene WT1. Mutations within PAX2 have been shown to result in optic nerve colobomas and renal hypoplasia. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.

Paired Box Gene 2

Alternate Names

paired box 2, paired box gene 2, paired box homeotic gene 2, paired box protein Pax-2
