Western Blot: USP9x Antibody [NB100-61591]

Western Blot: USP9x Antibody [NB100-61591] - Detection of Human and Mouse USP9X by Western Blot (h&m) and Immunoprecipitation (h). Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 mcg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), 293T (T; 50 mcg) and mouse NIH3T3 (M; 50 mcg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-USP9X antibody NB100-61591 used for WB at 0.04 mcg/ml (A) and 1 mcg/ml (B) and used for IP at 3 mcg/mg lysate. USP9X was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-USP9X antibody NB100-61590, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 1 second (A and B).

Background: USP9x

USP9X is an ubiquitin-specific protease involved in the removal and recycling of ubiquitin from proteins degraded in proteasomes. USP9X is located on the X-chromosome but escapes X-inactivation. Defects in USP9X may cause gonadal degeneration in Turner syndrome.
