What are the sample volume and cell concentration limits for the Single Cell Cartridge? Load up to 600 uL of cell sample diluted in your preferred cell media or diluent. Single Cell Cartridges can optimally dispense at event rates of 1-2 events/second, which correspond to 5,000-20,000 cells/mL. Higher cell concentrations, up to 150M cells/mL, can be optimized using the "enrichment" workflow.

What plate types are compatible for single cell dispensing and how much volume is dispensed with my cell? Dispense 1 cell/well with high accuracy into standard 96 or 384-well tissue culture plates in 1 uL of dispensing volume. Additionally, 96 and 384-well PCR plates can also be used for cell deposition. Unskirted PCR plates are also accommodated with the PCR plate adaptor included with the both the Hana and Pala instruments.
