Biological Activity for Caerulein

Caerulein is a CCK agonist. Stimulates biosynthesis of pancreatic enzymes in AR4-2J pancreatic cells in vitro. Induces acute pancreatitis in mice. Also enhances proteasome activity in Gdeg mice.
