SR 27897 is a potent, non-peptide CCK₁ receptor antagonist that displays > 33-fold selectivity over CCK₂ receptors (EC₅₀ values are 6 and 200 nM respectively). Causes an increase in plasma leptin levels and increases food intake in rats in vivo.
