DAPP1: Lysates
DAPP1, also known as Bam32, is a 32 kDa intracellular adaptor protein for tyrosine-phosphorylated proteins and 3-phosphoinositides. It is expressed in B cells, T cells, and mast cells and plays a role in signal transduction during the activation of these cell types. DAPP1 is also required for progression of germinal center reactions and the adhesion of B cells to T cells. It is recruited to the plasma membrane following PI 3-kinase activation. DAPP1 contains one SH2 (aa 34-129) and one PH (aa 164-259) domain. Alternate splicing generates an additional isoform with a 22 aa substitution at the C-terminus.
