MRPS21, also known as Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S21, consists of a 87 amino acid isoform that is 11 kDa, and is involved in the process of mitochondrial protein synthesis. There is no current disease research being conducted on MRPS21. The protein is not linked to any pathways, though it does interact with a variety of other proteins, including ICT1, USP42, USP44, ESR2, and SLX4.
