OR2G3, also known as Olfactory receptor 2G3, is a 34.5 kDa, 309 amino acid protein that is involved in triggering the perception of smell as a member of the olfactory receptor gene family. Current research is being conducted to study the protein's effect on neuronitis. The protein interacts with other proteins such as OR10J5, OR10R2, OR14A16, OR10K1, and OR52E6 in GPCR and olfactory signal transduction pathways.
