Tumstatin Products
Tumstatin is a naturally occurring, anti-angiogenic, anti-tumor peptide of 28 kDa that constitutes the NC1 (non-collagenous) domain of the Collagen IV alpha3 chain [amino acids (aa) 1427-1670 of Coll IV alpha3; 245 aa]. It is liberated from basement membranes by MMP-9, and interacts with integrin alphaV beta3 on endothelial cells, causing cell cycle arrest, or apoptosis of cells that are proliferating.
