UBE2D4/Ubch5d: Lysates
Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2D 4 (UBE2D4), also known as Ubiquitin-conjugating Enzyme H5d (Ubch5d), is a member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating (E2) enzyme family. Human UBE2D4/Ubch5d is 147 amino acids in length and has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 16.5 kDa. It may function with the IDOL Ubiquitin ligase (E3) to ubiquitinate LDL R. UBE2D4/Ubch5d, along with other UBE2D family members, may also be involved in the degradation of p53. Cadmium exposure has been reported to reduce the mRNA expression level of UBE2D4/Ubch5d.
