Reactivity Notes

Cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat, Xenopus laevis, Cow, Chicken and Dog. Not yet tested in other species. Please note that this antibody is reactive to Mouse and derived from the same host, Mouse. Background: beta Tubulin

Beta Tubulin antibodies are useful as loading controls for Western Blotting and ELISA, as well as in studies invlolving cell structure and division. Tubulin is the major building block of microtubules. This intracellular cylindrical filamentous structure is present in almost all eukaryotic cells. Microtubules function as structural and mobile elements in mitosis, intracellular transport, flagellar movement, and in the cytoskeleton.
