BALB/c splenocytes were stained with Mouse CD200 Monoclonal Ab (50074-R002), then a FITC-conjugated second step antibody. The histogram were derived from the gated events based on light scattering characteristics of lymphocytes.

Background: CD200

CD200 costimulates T cell proliferation. It may regulate myeloid cell activity in a variety of tissues. It is a monomorphic determinant expressed on thymocytes, brain, follicular dendritic cells in all lymphoid organs, endothelium and at low levels on some smooth muscle and B lymphocytes. Recent studies have suggested that the CD200 - CD200 ligand system is of importance in the control of macrophage and granulocyte activation.
