Western Blot: CD37 Antibody (IPO-24 (ZC37-24)) - Chimeric [NBP3-12074] - Daudi cell lysate(A), human spleen(B), and tonsil(C) tissue lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) was resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of IPO-24 (ZC37-24) (NBP3-12074) at 2 ug/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: CD37 Antibody (IPO-24 (ZC37-24)) - Chimeric [NBP3-12074] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Daudi cells on Shi-fix(TM) coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of IPO-24 (ZC37-24) (NBP3-12074) at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom NBP3-12074, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody followed by staining with Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody.

Background: CD37

CD37, also known as GP52-40, TSPAN26, MGC120234. Enterz Protein NP_001035120. It is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins and other transmembrane 4 superfamily proteins. It may play a role in T-cell-B-cell interactions. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
