Scientific Data Images for CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23)

CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23)

Western Blot: CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23) [NBP3-32168]

Western Blot: CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23) [NBP3-32168] - Western blot analysis of CD79A on Raji cell lysates with Mouse anti-CD79A antibody (NBP3-32168) at 1/1,000 dilution.

Lysates/proteins at 10 ug/Lane.

Predicted band size: 25 kDa
Observed band size: 40 kDa

Exposure time: 2 minutes;

12% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32168) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Mouse IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:150,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.
CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23)

Immunohistochemistry: CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23) [NBP3-32168]

Immunohistochemistry: CD79A Antibody (PDM0-23) [NBP3-32168] - Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue with Mouse anti-CD79A antibody (NBP3-32168) at 1/200 dilution.

The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0) for 20 minutes. The tissues were blocked in 1% BSA for 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with ddH2O and PBS, and then probed with the primary antibody (NBP3-32168) at 1/200 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature. The detection was performed using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. Tissues were counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Background: CD79A

CD79a is a disulphide-linked heterodimer, consisting of mb-1 (or CD79a) and B29 (or CD79b) polypeptides, is non-covalently associated with membrane-bound immunoglobulins on B cells to constitute the B cell Ag receptor. CD79a first appears at pre B cell stage and persists until the plasma cell stage where it is found as an intracellular component. CD79a is found in the majority of acute leukemias of precursor B cell type, in B cell lines, B cell lymphomas, and in some myelomas. It is not present in myeloid or T cell lines.
