Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: EIF3F Antibody [NBP2-97760] - Immunofluorescence staining of EIF3F in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human EIF3F polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus and cytoplasm.

Background: EIF3F

eIF3f, also known as eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit 5, eIF-3 epsilon, and eIF3 p47 subunit, binds to the 40S ribosome and promotes the binding of methionyl-tRNA and mRNA. EIF3f also associates with the complex p170-eIF3. eIF-3 is composed of at least 12 different subunits, eIF3f is one of these subunits.
