Western Blot: ERCC8 Antibody (PSH0-86) [NBP3-32315] - Western blot analysis of ERCC8 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-ERCC8 antibody (NBP3-32315) at 1/1,000 dilution.

Lane 2: SH-SY5Y cell lysate

Exposure time: 27 seconds;

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32315) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:100,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: ERCC8

ERCC8 encodes a WD repeat protein, which interacts with Cockayne syndrome type B (CSB) protein and with p44 protein, a subunit of the RNA polymerase II transcription factor IIH. Mutations in this gene have been identified in patients with hereditary disease Cockayne syndrome (CS). CS cells are abnormally sensitive to ultraviolet radiation and are defective in the repair of transcriptionally active genes.
