Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: HABP1/C1QBP/GC1q R Antibody [NBP2-98236] - Immunofluorescence staining of HABP1/C1QBP/GC1q R in NIH-3T3 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-MOUSE HABP1/C1QBP/GC1q R polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:1000) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor$488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG Secondary antibody (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue).Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.

Background: HABP1/C1QBP

The human complement subcomponent C1q associates with C1r and C1s in order to yield the first component of the serum complement system. The protein encoded by this gene is known to bind to the globular heads of C1q molecules and inhibit C1 activation. This protein has also been identified as the p32 subunit of pre-mRNA splicing factor SF2, as well as a hyaluronic acid-binding protein. [provided by RefSeq]
