Scientific Data Images for Human CD8 alpha Antibody

Detection of CD8 alpha antibody in Human Blood Lymphocytes antibody by Flow Cytometry.

Detection of CD8 alpha in Human Blood Lymphocytes by Flow Cytometry.

Human peripheral blood lymphocytes were stained with (A) Mouse Anti-Human CD8 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1509) or (B) Mouse IgG2B isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041) followed by anti-Mouse IgG PE-conjugated secondary antibody (Catalog # F0102B) and Mouse Anti-Human CD3 epsilon APC-conjugated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # FAB100A). CD8a antibody in Human PBMCs by Immunocytochemistry (ICC).

CD8 alpha in Human PBMCs.

CD8a was detected in immersion fixed human peripheral blood mononuclear cells using Mouse Anti-Human CD8a Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1509) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 493-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (green; Catalog # NL009) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell surfaces. View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

Background: CD8

CD8 is a heterodimeric glycoprotein consisting of an alpha and beta chain. It is expressed on cytolytic T cells and functions in conjunction with the T cell receptor in the recognition of MHC/peptide complexes.
