Scientific Data Images for Human DNA-PKcs Antibody
Detection of Human DNA-PKcs by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of U2OS human osteosarcoma cell line and HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Human DNA-PKcs Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF3415) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF017). A specific band was detected for DNA-PKcs at approximately 460 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human DNA-PKcs Antibody

Background: DNA-PKcs
DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit (DNA-PKCS) is a member of the PI3-kinase related kinase (PIKK) superfamily. DNA-PKCS is a serine/threonine kinase that, along with the DNA-binding proteins Ku70/Ku80, binds to regions of DNA double-strand breaks and is involved in double-strand break repair and VDJ recombination.
