Cell Proliferation Induced by Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L and Neutralization by Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L Antibody.

Cell Proliferation Induced by Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L and Neutralization by Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L Antibody.

Recombinant Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L (Catalog # 308-FK or 308-FKN) stimulates proliferation in the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with mouse Flt-3 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). Proliferation elicited by Recombinant Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L (5 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB308). The ND50 is typically 0.02-0.06 µg/mL.

Applications for Human Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L Antibody

Application
Recommended Usage

Western Blot

1 µg/mL
Sample: Recombinant Human Flt‑3 Ligand/FLT3L (Catalog # 308-FK) under non-reducing conditions only.

Neutralization

Measured by its ability to neutralize Flt‑3 Ligand/FLT3L-induced proliferation in the BaF3 mouse pro‑B cell line transfected with mouse Flt‑3. Hannum, C. et al. (1994) Nature 368:643. The Neutralization Dose (ND50) is typically 0.02‑0.06 µg/mL in the presence of 5 ng/mL Recombinant Human Flt‑3 Ligand/FLT3L.
Please Note: Optimal dilutions of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

Background: Flt-3 Ligand/FLT3L

Flt-3 Ligand, also known as Flk-2 Ligand, is a transmembrane protein that can be cleaved to release a soluble cytokine. Flt-3 Ligand binds Flt-3 and promotes the growth and differentiation of early hematopoietic progenitor cells.
