Scientific Data Images for Human Integrin  alpha4/CD49d Biotinylated Antibody

Integrin  alpha4/CD49d in MOLT-4 Human Cell Line.

Integrin  alpha4/CD49d was detected in immersion fixed MOLT-4 human acute lymphoblastic leukemia cell line using Mouse Anti-Human Integrin  alpha4/CD49d Biotinylated Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # BAM1354) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Streptavidin (red; NL999) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cell surface. Staining was performed using our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Non-adherent Cells.

Background: Integrin alpha 4/CD49d

The alpha4 subunit, also known as CD49d and VLA-4 alpha subunit, forms heterodimers with Integrin beta1 (CD29) or beta7. Integrins alpha4 beta1 and alpha4 beta7 are receptors for fibronectin and VCAM. Integrin alpha4 beta1 also binds the mucosal addressin cell adhesion molecule (MAdCAM-1).
