Scientific Data Images for Human MLK3 Antibody
Detection of Human MLK3 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of Ramos human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human MLK3 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4559) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for MLK3 at approximately 93 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human MLK3 Antibody

Background: MLK3
Mixed-lineage kinases (MLKs) function as mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinases (MAP3Ks), activating the MAPK signaling cascades. MLK3, also known as MAP3K11 and PTK1, encodes a protein of 847 amino acids (aa) that shares an unusual leucine zipper‑basic motif found in other MLKs. Small interfering RNA experiments have indicated that MLK3 is required for both mitogen and cytokine activation of JNK1, p38 alpha, and ERK1.
