Scientific Data Images for Human/Mouse GATA-1 Antibody
Detection of Human/Mouse GATA-1 by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of TS1 mouse helper T cell line and K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.5 µg/mL of Human/Mouse GATA-1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB17791) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF005). A specific band was detected for GATA-1 at approximately 45 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 4.Applications for Human/Mouse GATA-1 Antibody

Background: GATA-1
GATA-1 is the founding member of the GATA family of transcription factors, which bind to the consensus DNA sequence (A/T) GATA (A/G) to control diverse tissue‑specific programs of gene expression and morphogenesis. GATA-1 is expressed in blood forming cells. It interacts with several additional proteins to activate or repress gene expression and is essential for erythropoiesis.
