SIRP beta 1/CD172b antibody in U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line by Immunocytochemistry (ICC).

SIRP beta 1/CD172b in U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line.

SIRP beta1/CD172b was detected in immersion fixed U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line (left panel; positive staining) and Daudi human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line (right panel; negative staining) using Mouse Anti-Human SIRP beta1/CD172b Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB20961) at 8 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm. Background: SIRP beta 1/CD172b

SIRP beta1 is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the SIRP family within the Ig superfamily. Members of this family are characterized by an extracellular region containing a V-set Ig domain containing a J-like sequence and two C1-set Ig domains. Unlike SIRP alpha that has cytoplasmic ITIM domains, SIRP beta1 possesses positively charged residues that allow association with ITAM motif containing adaptor molecules. SIRP beta1 is expressed on cells of monocyte, macrophage or dendritic lineages.
