Scientific Data Images for Human SOX17 Antibody

SOX17 antibody in BG01V Human Stem Cells by Immunocytochemistry (ICC).

SOX17 in BG01V Human Stem Cells.

SOX17 was detected in immersion fixed endoderm-differentiated BG01V human embryonic stem cells using Mouse Anti-Human SOX17 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB19241) at 10 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (yellow, upper panel; NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue, lower panel). Specific staining was localized to nuclei. View our protocol for Fluorescent ICC Staining of Cells on Coverslips.

Detection of SOX17 in Endoderm Differentiated BG01V hESCs by Flow Cytometry

Endoderm differentiated BG01V hESCs were stained with Mouse Anti-Human SOX17 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB19241, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB0041, open histogram) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005). View our protocol for Staining Intracellular Molecules. Endoderm differentiation was performed using SC019B following protocol on the datasheet.

Detection of SOX17 in iPSCs by Flow Cytometry

iPSCs were stained with Mouse Anti-Human SOX17 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB19241, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB002, open histogram) followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B).

Background: SOX17

SOX17 is a member of the SOX family of transcription factors that bind DNA via a high mobility group (HMG) domain. SOX17 is suggested to play an important role in endoderm development (1, 2).
