Specificity
Recognizes soluble and membranous human IL-6R. This has been shown to inhibit IL-6 mediated proliferation of XG-1 cells, and partially blocks binding of IL-6 to its receptor. Removal of Sodium azide is recommended prior to use in functional assays.
