Description

CoraFluor(TM) 1 is a high performance terbium-based TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) or TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) donor for high throughput assay development. CoraFluor(IM) 1 absorbs UV light at approximately 340 nm, and emits at approximately 490 nm, 545 nm, 585 nm and 620 nm. It is compatible with common acceptor dyes that absorb at the emission wavelengths of CoraFluor(TM) 1. CoraFluor(TM) 1 can be used for the development of robust and scalable TR-FRET binding assays such as target engagement, ternary complex, protein-protein interaction and protein quantification assays.

Background: Leukotriene B4 R1

BLTR2, also known as Leukotriene B4 Receptor 1, is a Chemoattractant Receptor that causes LTB4-induced chemotaxis, calcium mobilization, and inhibition of adenylyl cyclase. Portions of the coding regions of BLTR2 have been duplicated and are part of the 5' UTR noncoding regions of the clusters LS190955 (BLT1) and LS54843 (CIDE-B) on chromosome 14. BLTR2 has been reported in humans in peripheral blood leukocytes, mononuclear lymphocytes, and spleen. ESTs have been isolated from a broad array of human libraries, including brain, eye, fetal lung/testis/B-cell, heart, kidney, melanocyte/uterus/fetal heart, testis, tonsil, and uterus libraries
