Scientific Data Images for Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 Antibody

Chemotaxis Induced by CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 and Neutralization by Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 Antibody.

Chemotaxis Induced by CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 and Neutralization by Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 Antibody.

Recombinant Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 aa 48-109 (Catalog # 1091-CK) chemoattracts the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CXCR2 in a dose-dependent manner (orange line). The amount of cells that migrated through to the lower chemotaxis chamber was measured by Resazurin (Catalog # AR002). Chemotaxis elicited by Recombinant Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 aa 48-109 (40 ng/mL) is neutralized (green line) by increasing concentrations of Rat Anti-Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1091). The ND50 is typically 2-8 µg/mL.

Applications for Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 Antibody

Application
Recommended Usage

Western Blot

1 µg/mL
Sample: Recombinant Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 (Catalog # 793-CK) under non-reducing conditions only

Neutralization

Measured by its ability to neutralize CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1-induced chemotaxis in the BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line transfected with human CXCR2. The Neutralization Dose (ND50) is typically 2-8 µg/mL in the presence of 40 ng/mL Recombinant Mouse CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1 aa 48-109.

Background: CXCL7/Thymus Chemokine-1

CXCL7 is a member of the alpha (CXC) subfamily of chemokines. Mouse CXCL7 cDNA encodes a 113 amino acid precursor protein that shares 72% amino acid sequence identity with rat CXCL7.
