Background: MTCP1

Belonging to the TCL1 family, MTCP1 is associated with mature T-cell proliferations. MTCP1 represents the upstream 13 kDa protein and plays an important role in leukemogenesis. MTCP1 improves the phosphorylation and activation of AKT1 and AKT2. This gene plays a key role in T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia.
