MxA/Mx1 Antibody (HL1790) - Azide and BSA Free

Western Blot: MxA/Mx1 Antibody (HL1790) - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-25571] -

Western Blot: MxA/Mx1 Antibody (HL1790) - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-25571] - Various whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with MX1 antibody [HL1790] (NBP3-25571) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody. Corresponding RNA expression data for the same cell lines are based on Human Protein Atlas program.

Background: MxA/Mx1

In mouse, the interferon-inducible Mx protein is responsible for a specific antiviral state against influenza virus infection. The protein encoded by this gene is similar to the mouse protein as determined by its antigenic relatedness, induction conditions, physicochemical properties, and amino acid analysis. This cytoplasmic protein is a member of both the dynamin family and the family of large GTPases. [provided by RefSeq]

Long Name

Interferon-regulated Resistance GTP-binding protein MxA

Alternate Names

IFI-78K, IFI78, Mx1

Gene Symbol

MX1
