Immunoprecipitation: MYBBP1A Antibody [NB100-61050] - Detection of human MYBBP1A by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MYBBP1A antibody NB100-61050 used for IP at 3 ug per reaction. MYBBP1A was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MYBBP1A antibody NB100-61051. For blotting immunoprecipitated MYBBP1A, NB100-61051 was used at 0.4 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background: MYBBP1A

Myb binding protein 1a (MYBBP1a) was originally isolated as a c-Myb interacting protein but has been found to associate with a number of transcription factors. MYBBP1a has been shown to activate or repress transcription through its interaction with transcriptional regulators such as AHR, jun, c-Myb, NF-kappaB, and PGC-1alpha.
