Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: NASP Antibody [NBP3-06445] - Immunofluorescence staining of NASP in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS,blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human NASP polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4 degrees celsius overnight. Then cells were stained with Alexa Fluor (TM) 488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background: NASP

NASP is required for DNA replication, normal cell cycle progression, and cell proliferation. It forms a cytoplasmic complex with HSP90 and H1 linker histones and stimulates HSP90 ATPase activity. NASP and H1 histone are subsequently released from the complex and translocate to the nucleus where the histone is released for binding to DNA.
