Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: PTBP2 Antibody (10S9P6) [NBP3-16756] - Confocal imaging of U-2 OS cells using PTBP2 Rabbit mAb followed by a further incubation with Cy3 Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) . The cells were counterstained with alpha-Tubulin Mouse mAb followed by incubation with ABflo(R) 488-conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Ab (Green). DAPI was used for nuclear staining (Blue). Objective: 100x.

Background: PTBP2

PTBP2 is encoded by this gene binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements, downstream control sequence (DCS). It is implicated in controlling the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is very similar to the polypyrimidine tract binding protein but it is expressed primarily in the brain.
