Immunoprecipitation:RPS21 AntibodyNBP3-30683] -Detection of human RPS21 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RPS21 antibody NBP3-30683 (lot NBP3-30683-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. RPS21 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-RPS21.. For blotting immunoprecipitated RPS21, NBP3-30683 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

Background: RPS21

RPS21 is a gene that codes for a ribosomal protein that is a component of the 40S subunit, and has a length of 83 amino acids and a weight of approximately 9 kDa. Current studies are being done on several disorders and diseases related to this gene, including pure red-cell aplasia, anemia, malaria, and leukemia. RPS21 has also been shown to have interactions with RIOK2, RPSA, ABCF2, KRR1, and MCTS1 in pathways such as the cytoplasmic ribosomal protein, PB1-F2 synthesis, influenza life cycle, and viral mRNA translation pathways.
