Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: SSR3 Antibody [NBP2-97569] - Immunofluorescence staining of SSR3 in A431 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with rabbit anti-Human SSR3 polyclonal antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Cytoplasm.

Background: SSR3

The signal sequence receptor (SSR) is a glycosylated endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane receptor associated with protein translocation across the ER membrane. The SSR is comprised of four membrane proteins/subunits: alpha, beta, gamma, and delta. The first two are glycosylated subunits and the latter two are non-glycosylated subunits. The protein encoded by this gene is the gamma subunit and is predicted to span the membrane four times. (provided by RefSeq)
