Product Summary for Transglutaminase 7/TGM7 Antibody [CoraFluor™ 1]

Immunogen

TGM7 antibody was raised against a 13 amino acid synthetic peptide near the center of human TGM7. The immunogen is located within amino acids 460 - 510 of TGM7. Amino Acid Squence: LESGGLRDQPAQL

Specificity

Transglutaminase 7/TGM7 antibody is predicted to not cross-react with other TGase protein family members. At least two isoforms of Transglutaminase 7/TGM7 are known to exist; this antibody will recognize both isoforms.

Clonality

Polyclonal

Host

Rabbit

Isotype

IgG

Description

CoraFluor(TM) 1 is a high performance terbium-based TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) or TRF (Time-Resolved Fluorescence) donor for high throughput assay development. CoraFluor(IM) 1 absorbs UV light at approximately 340 nm, and emits at approximately 490 nm, 545 nm, 585 nm and 620 nm. It is compatible with common acceptor dyes that absorb at the emission wavelengths of CoraFluor(TM) 1. CoraFluor(TM) 1 can be used for the development of robust and scalable TR-FRET binding assays such as target engagement, ternary complex, protein-protein interaction and protein quantification assays.

Background: Transglutaminase 7/TGM7

Transglutaminases are a family of structurally and functionally related enzymes that stabilize protein assemblies through the formation of gamma glutamyl epsilon lysine crosslinks. They all have the same amino acid sequence at their active sites and their activity is calcium dependent.
